Sean is a record-breaking polar adventurer, former Royal Marines officer, professional adventure speaker and business consultant.  Sean’s life is as inspirational as his achievements are measurable.  During an earlier career as an officer in the elite Royal Marines Sean was responsible for the selection and training of Royal Marine Commandos and has lead operations across the globe. Sean has made considerable impact in the polar arena as a polar adventurer who has continually sought to push the envelope of team performance to achieve some of the most remarkable polar journeys of recent times, including world firsts in the Arctic and Antarctica.  With over 700 days spent on polar expeditions, skiing some 4,000 miles beyond the Arctic and Antarctic Circles Sean has earned himself the nickname of 'The Ice Man™' along the way.

Sean combines his experiences as an officer in the Royal Marines and a Polar team leader with theoretical understanding to impart considerable learning on team leadership and as a professional adventure speaker delivers presentations worldwide on team leadership. Sean is an accredited TMSDI practitioner in the Team Management Profile, Linking Skills Profile and Team Performance Profile.
